Terrance L. Merck (Lead Strategist)


Mr. Merck is the Lead Researcher and Strategist for DLM & Associates Consulting Group. He is a pragmatic professional who optimizes resources for the benefit of our clients. His research ability is second to none and paramount to the internal and external growth and success of DLM & Associates.  He brings to the agency an unorthodox non-traditional style that allows us to be transformational through the power of collection of data and the simulation of information as we develop concepts that allow us to explore endless possibilities within a competitive global market place.   
​He earned his Bachelor’s degree from Livingstone College and has completed graduated studies in research and critical analysis from North Carolina Central University. His expertise in developing and administering programs and services for at-risk youth and individuals living in impoverished communities along with his keen ability to listen, comprehend, and objectively examine critical concepts has made him a valued team member of DLM & Associates. 

Ibrahim N. Bah (Organizational Logistics)


Mr. Bah oversees organizational logistics for DLM & Associates Consulting Group.  He brings a global perspective and a wealth of knowledge, hailing from his homeland of Sierra Leone; he offers an out of the box approach to finding comprehensive solutions for the benefit of our clients.  With a strong academic background in Computer Information Systems, Public Administration and Non-Profit Management, he is able to implore technical strategies which optimize our clients’ bottom line. 


His demonstrated experience’s in strategy formation and concept analysis has benefitted our clients in a array of services and has proven to be beneficial toward the external and internal growth of DLM & Associates Consulting Group. He received his undergraduate degree from Livingstone College located in Salisbury, North Carolina and Master's degree in Public Administration focusing organizational management  from the University of Michigan.

Dana L. Merck (Chief Executive Officer)


 Mr. Merck is the Chief Executive Officer of DLM & Associates Consulting Group.   He received a Bachelor’s degree in History from Livingstone College in Salisbury, NC and a Masters degree in Public Administration from the University of Michigan; he also has completed graduate course work at North Carolina Central University in Durham, NC with an emphasis in American, African, and European studies.  He has a professional background in Community/Economic Development, Non-Profit Management, Resource Management, Business Development, and Personal Development.


He has provided strategic analysis for capital campaigns in excess of $20 million and has implemented Community Development Plans with projections to increase the tax base by $15 million.   Through effective communication and sound relationship-building, he has been able to successfully form partnerships between Private Businesses, Local, County, State, and Federal agencies.                   

Mr. Merck’s charismatic ability and forthrightness have garnered him the respect of his peers and has made him an authority in matters of Business Development, Organizational  Management, Policy Analysis, Strategic Development, Comprehensive Growth, Financial Assessment, and Conflict Resolution.  He has helped build, advise, and sustain organizations and leaders in his field of expertise.

Joe L. Dudley, Jr. (Consulting Partner)


Mr. Dudley brings with him superior experience in direct marketing and small business consulting as President of Dudley Direct, Inc., He has over 30 years experience working in is his family business, Dudley Products, Inc., one of the nations leading manufacturers and distributors of ethnic hair care and personal care products. He has worked in numerous positions in the company including Vice-President of Marketing and Vice-President of Finance.  Joe recently published What’s My E-Style?, which challenges entrepreneurs to discover their entrepreneurial personality for outstanding business success. In this book, Joe makes it simple for entrepreneurs to define their business style and achieve success. He also is a certified Myers-Briggs Type Indicator instructor and is certified to administrate Predictive Index, a workplace assessment tool.


​Joe received his BA in Economics from Northwestern University. While an undergrad at NU, he was accepted into the 3-2 Program of the graduate business school. Later, Joe received his MBA from NU’s Kellogg Graduate School of Management, completing three majors in marketing, finance and strategic planning. 







​Peggy K. Goodwin (Consulting Partner)

Ms. Goodwin is an accredited public affairs strategist and licensed professional fundraiser whose experience spans more than 20 years from Detroit, and the Great Lakes Region to Los Angeles and world-renowned Rodeo Drive.  Services include public relations, public affairs, media relations, content marketing, event organizing and fund development.


She is a trailblazer in both the private and non-profit sectors, she has organized campaigns that generate positive awareness, educate the public to act, increase funding and win awards.  Examples include winning the National “Outstanding Campaign Award,” presented by the Department of Justice and The Ad Council for our Project Safe Neighborhoods Campaign. The campaign, called “Help Us Help You,” generated major public awareness and a $12.5M donation of in-kind media for crime prevention, which resulted in more than a 30% increase of tips to both 1.800.SPEAK UP and 1.800.ATF GUNS.


​Holding a Bachelor of Arts in Public Affairs, cum laude and a Master of Arts in Communications/Dispute Resolution from Wayne State University, Goodwin contributes columns to The Michigan Chronicle and co-hosts The Jonathan Kinloch Show.  She is a board member of the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention and volunteer for Royal Oak Youth Assistance.  During a local election, Goodwin earned the most votes in a crowded field of seven candidates and was elected City Commissioner for the City of Royal Oak, Michigan.
